Pick Your Captain

Your rental is the boat alone. Have your own USCG-licensed captain? Bring them. Want one of ours? Pick by the stats: every captain on this wall is licensed, vetted, and hired by you under a separate agreement.
You rent the vessel and choose your own crew. Captain hire is a separate agreement between you and the captain, arranged after your boat is booked. Sample rates shown; each captain sets their own.

Tip Your Crew

Had a great day on the water? Tips go to your captain and crew, not to Dockside. 100 percent of every tip reaches the person who earned it; the platform takes nothing from gratuity.

Straight Answers

How does renting the yacht work?

You rent the yacht itself by the hour, not a seat on a crewed cruise. You control the day: who is aboard, where you go, and who runs the helm. You bring a USCG-licensed captain or hire one from the wall above under a separate agreement.

Do I need a license myself?

No. Your captain does. Every captain on our wall carries a current USCG license; if you bring your own, we verify theirs before departure.

What is included with the boat?

Coolers and ice, cups, Bluetooth sound, restroom, swim platform, and a covered interior. Want to get in the water? Add the swim stop upsell on rentals of 3 hours or more: sandbar anchor with floats rigged, and aboard Lady Sadie the 15-foot floating swim-net pool, a netted circle where the whole group swims sting-free. BYOB for guests 21 and over; no glass on deck.

How does checkout work?

The boat itself books on FareHarbor’s secure live calendar (tap any Book button). Extras, your captain connection, and crew tips run right here through Square, matched to your FareHarbor booking number. Weather calls mean a full refund or a free rebook, each through the system that charged you.
